Meet Luna and Maxim — the parents behind every Archangel Silver litter in Austin, Texas
We run a small program — just one breeding pair at a time. Luna is our queen and Maxim is our stud. Both carry champion-titled lineage, both have passed full genetic and infectious-disease screening, and both live in our Austin home as pets first and breeders second.
Keeping the program small is intentional. It means a handful of litters a year, hands-on socialization for every kitten, and time to actually answer your questions before you take one home.
Luna is the mother of every Archangel Silver litter. She is a champion-titled Russian Blue with a quiet, patient temperament and is an attentive mother — kittens stay close to her until they're ready for new homes.
Champion-Titled Russian Blue Queen
Dense, even silver-blue double coat — the kind of plush, slightly springy texture the breed standard calls for.
Bright green, fully changed from kitten blue. Her litters consistently inherit the same eye color by four months.
Calm and patient. She lets her kittens climb on her, settles quickly when handled, and is good around new people.
Champion-titled lineage with full pedigree documentation. We're happy to share her paperwork with serious inquiries.
Cleared for HCM and PKD, FeLV/FIV negative, current on vaccines and annual vet exams.
Maxim is the father of every litter at Archangel Silver. He's a champion-titled Russian Blue with a confident, easygoing personality and a coat that has the dense, silver-tipped look the breed is known for.

Solid silver-blue with the silver-tipped guard hairs that give Russian Blues their signature shimmer in sunlight.
Deep green, well-set, and round — a trait he passes on reliably.
Medium frame, fine-boned, muscular — within the size range the breed standard describes (10–12 lbs).
Confident with people he knows, polite with strangers, no aggression. He's the cat that comes to greet you at the door.

We invest heavily in health testing and preventive care for all our breeding cats. This ensures that every kitten born at Archangel Silver has the best possible genetic foundation for a long, healthy life. All health certificates and test results are available for review.
Small, careful, and on-purpose
Our queens and studs come from champion bloodlines with documented pedigrees spanning multiple generations.
All our breeding cats live in our Austin home as beloved family members, not in cages or kennels.
Quality grain-inclusive food, fresh water, scheduled vet visits, and a lot of lap time. Nothing fancy — just consistent.
Luna has at most two litters a year and gets a full rest cycle between pregnancies. We don't push her — if a cycle doesn't take, we wait. Most years we have two litters total, sometimes one.
That pace keeps the cats healthy and gives every kitten enough lap time, handling, and vet attention before they go home at 12 weeks.
