Most families come to Austin to meet us and pick up in person. For out-of-state homes we arrange a flight nanny or licensed ground transport.
The right travel option depends on where you live and what you're comfortable with. Below are the four ways our kittens have gone home to their new families. We're happy to walk you through the pros, cons, and current costs for each before you decide.
⭐ Most Popular Option
An independent pet nanny flies with your kitten in the cabin and hands them to you at the arrivals gate. This is what most out-of-state families choose because the kitten is never alone and there's no cargo paperwork on your end. We coordinate the booking; you pay the nanny directly. See available kittens for current options.
Fast & Reliable
If a nanny isn't available on the dates you need, kittens can fly as climate-controlled cargo on Delta, United, or American to your nearest airport. You collect the kitten at the airline's cargo office. Usually cheaper than a nanny but you handle the airport pickup yourself.
For Nearby States
A licensed pet transport driver picks the kitten up here in Austin and drops them at your door. Best fit for families within driving distance who'd rather avoid flying. Transit usually runs 2–3 days depending on the route.
Meet Us in Person
